in the mid-60's if we
believed in magic
some of us
are still asking
do you believe in the
power of intention?
do you believe that what
you believe in matters?
do you believe in miracles?
do you believe in making
your dreams come true?
do you believe you deserve
to have the life you want?

i'm not espousing 'the secret'
or suggesting mind over matter
i'm just trying to remember
what it felt like to be
four years old because i
can tell you with certainty
that when i look at my
favorite photo of myself
when i was that age
that little girl most definitely
believed in magic
