i like the idea of
'peace begins here'
it's just that i want peace
to begin after i've had
my say, thank you very much!

let me make my point!
and then i'll be peaceful

as annoying dr. phil would say:
how's that workin' for ya?

i'm becoming ever more
mindful that a more appropriate
affirmation for me would be
'peace begins with listening'

god, grant me the serenity
to accept the things
i cannot change
the courage to change
the things i can
and the willingness to
shut the fuck up.
